Our Story
I'm Adil, and Carpaccio is my family's passion project. This isn't a restaurant in the traditional sense. It's our home, our garden, and our way of sharing what we love most: cooking with heart and hosting with genuine warmth.
My wife and I do all the cooking ourselves, using ingredients from our own farm and trusted local suppliers and fisheries. We've created recipes you won't find anywhere else in the Maldives. This is high-end dining without the corporate resort feel, a truly unique experience where every detail is personal.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of serving presidents and high-ranking government officials, but our table is open to everyone. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist visiting the Maldives, you're equally welcome here. Every guest receives the same care and attention.
Every evening begins with a conversation. We listen, we suggest, and together we create something made just for you.
The Experience
There is no menu at Carpaccio. Instead, we ask: What do you want to eat?
Whether you're craving fresh seafood, specific preparations, or something you've been dreaming about, we'll design the evening around you. Our kitchen adapts, our family serves, and the result is yours alone. Many of our dishes are completely original creations that can't be found anywhere else.
You'll dine in our beautiful garden, surrounded by flowers and plants we've carefully tended. The space is immaculately maintained, and we've decorated it with handcrafted pieces made from repurposed materials, each one giving new life to what was once discarded. It's a setting that feels both elegant and deeply personal.
We ask that you dress smart casual (no shorts or tank tops, please) to match the care we put into the evening. Contact us in advance to discuss your preferences, dietary needs, and party size. We're here to make your evening perfect.
